The management interface is Linux friendly but is otherwise bloated, slow, sluggish and sucks. Here is also a worrying aspect from an IRC conversation: {{{ <foo> rindolf: godaddy will take your domain for pretty much no reason, if they object in any way to the content <foo> rindolf: yes, suspend registration and demand a $75 fee to get it back <foo> rindolf: they'll cite their policy, which basically says "We'll take your domain if we don't like the content" <foo> And they're not even the cheapest out there, by -far- <foo> ... and their horrible website never stops trying to sell you shit <foo> foo: which one do you recommend? <foo> rindolf: I like domainsite <foo> If anything they're not as pesky, no big ads and annoyance on their website <foo> And there's not 20 extra steps where they try to get you to buy the same domain under EVERY TLD EVER and then sell you a terrible hosting plan }}} I've tried https://www.domainsite.com/ and they are much better. I also couldn't find a way to renew someone else's domain on their behalf on the GoDaddy site, and I tried really hard.
