Several municipalities maintain a special place for disposal of used electronic equipment for recycling.
In Petah Tikva (my city), for example, there is a container in Gisin St. (I don't remember the exact house number) for this purpose. I have been using it for disposal of my old electronics during the last few years. You may locate a convenient disposal location by pursuing: http://www.sviva.gov.il/Enviroment/Static/Binaries/ModulKvatzim/electronic_recycling_list_1.pdf http://www.snunit-recycling.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=4&Itemid=6 http://aglamaz.com/recycle/metals.aspx --- Omer On Wed, 2009-09-30 at 18:03 +0200, Oleg Goldshmidt wrote: > 2009/9/30 Noam Rathaus <no...@beyondsecurity.com>: > > Hi, > > > > We have broken electronics equipment which we would like to dispense with. > > > > Does anyone know who you can give these to? > > > > I am talking about non-functioning computers, harddisk, VGA cards, etc... > > > > Dropping them in the garbage doesn't sound very green. > > I work in Raanana, and by chance I noticed a relevant-looking sign on > a fence in the end of HaYetsira St. (next to Atidim St.).
