?Sound on Skype is very unpredictable. Sometimes it works well and sometimes it doesn't. I often get brake up?(pauses) with speech. Or I find that the Skype Sound settings in Options have changed. Or before it worked now it won't.
Distro Mandriva 2009.1 Gnome Starting skype I use root and the console with the following command: # LD_PRELOAD=/usr/lib/libv4l/v4l1compat.so skype The web camera works OK Logitech Quick Cam Chat. I have a Mad Dog Sound card installed although there's a Via card onboard which is disabled. Sometimes the settings Camera Pulse Pulse work OK and then it doesn't I get a message in the open console box Under run detected. Rebooting sometimes helps but not always Another setting that sometimes works is CM1830 dev 0? Any ideas?.
