Shimon: 1. You may be able to save the long calculation by running it from one of the consoles instead of the X-Server. 2. Check your keyboard configuration.
Any Debian Lenny Xorg X-Window expert in Linux-IL: 1. Where to set options so that the Xorg.0.log will be more verbose? (according to man Xorg, the -logverbose option sets the verbosity level) 2. Does the X-Server log runtime information (rather than init-time only) in the same logfile or in another logfile?
