They do, but you have to be layer 3 aware to notice that. Exactly like I
said - if you're layer 2, you are not allowed to do this "optimization".
In any case, this took us too far from the OP. I would be really
curious to know if iproute2 trickery can solve the problem for Daniel
or for you.
