Following on from Oleg, once you have convert the images to PDF with imagemagick
> $ for i in *.jpg; do convert -resize 1024x768 $i ${i%.*}.pdf; done
you can then combine them all into one PDF file using pdftk:
pdftk *.pdf cat output combined.pdf
