hi i am importing hebrew tv data to both mythtv and vdr.
mythtv handles bidi, so given the right encoding it loads the data correctly. vdr does not support hebrew, so i have convert to visual hebrew with fribidi.log2vis the problem is with the description: it is longer than a line, so both vdr and myth wrap at the end of line, but it is printed from bottom to top, which is counter-intuitive (and anoying) i can split it into lines and then convert each. but this is worse if i do not have the correct line length, and the line length may vary if i'm in a window ... if my line is too short, i only see part of the info. if my line is too long, i get both top to bottom and bottom to top in the same page ... anyone has a better idea ? cheers, erez.
