Did you notice who is the reporter of bug #1 ? .. If you will ever spend millions of your own money to create a new distribution that brought Linux to the masses (and to my wife, and to my little brother) - something which no one ever managed to do before, then you will have my blessing to write your own "bug #1". I think that bug #1 is mostly referred as a joke. A google search on the topic will show you that most people found it amusing. Maybe you just lack Mark Shuttleworth's ability to write amusing bug reports =o > 4. My original post is: > http://community.livejournal.com/shlomif_tech/11379.html Well, If you have a problem with something in an open source project you may talk about it. It might even bring to a change, but saying something like "Ubuntu is dead" will not make more people to believe you. People will just tag you as a troll. I'm sorry but all this sounds to me like "Oy Oy Oy! nobody wants to listen to the important things I have to say". Ubuntu will be here for a while whether you like it or not. It's a great entry point for newcomers and I, for one, welcome our new Shuttleworthian overlords.
