Mine was quite a bit below NIS 1000 a few years ago. They are still on sale - I noticed one, possibly a later modification, at the Office Depot just a week or so ago, at a few hundred shekels (don't remember exactly, but way below NIS 1000). This is not a competitive analysis, I am just saying I had no problems with it.
