Hi,
>the 'L' in the model name is for Linux.

I don't understand something: is the source code for the Linux kernel
and other applications running on
the WRT54GL (the kernel and applications which are shipped with it
upon purchase) are open and available freely from LinkSys ? and in
case it is so - from where can I get it ?
I had went to the official LinkSys site for this product:
http://www.linksys.com/servlet/Satellite?c=L_Product_C2&childpagename=US%2FLayout&cid=1133202177241&pagename=Linksys%2FCommon%2FVisitorWrapper

And I found there, in the bottom , in very little letters (I had to
enlarge the image by gimp), a little green/black open soure "tavit"
(label).

It says like this:

Open Source
==========
"This product may contain material licensed to you under GPL General
Public License or
other open source software license. Upon request, open-source software
source code is available at cost
from LinkSys for at least three years from the product purchase date.
For detailed license terms and additional
information look at www.linksys.com".

So I wonder - did anybody read this ? why is at "at cost" ? I expected
it to be "at no cost"?

Best Regards,
DS
