Hello, - First thanks to Oleg for his reply. - I had downloaded and looked a bit at the code of SDP and IPoIB.
- It looks quite complex and quite interesting. - I just want to verify that I understood the RDMA principle correctly, so I have a little question: Is using RDMA (wheter it is in ethernet NICs which support RDMA or Inifinibabd) is restricted to Local Area Network ? Can we create a socket across the intenet which uses in any way RDMA? It seems to me that it is **not** possible, but I want to verify I got it correctly.
