Hi Geoff,

For a good USB Sound card, I would recommend to look for Creative
offerings. They are very good from my experience..

As for RCA line-in.. that coule be a problem, as most of those cards
today have 3.5mm connector, not RCA connector, but you can buy cheaply
a convertor which solves this issue.

As much as I know, all Creative's solutions are supported under Linux
(not sure 100% though).
