Iglu was on the old servers (eskimo and beak). They sat at the Actcom farm. About a week and a half ago Bezeq intl. took the farm off line, and with it anything that was not yet moved to the new server (time constraints on my part). The email addresses under iglu are still operating, but the site itself is down. I have the entire material backed up, so nothing was lost, but it will take some time to get everything back up. One of the things that needs clarifying is how much needs to come back up. I think most of us are aware of the history that caused the Linux community to have three to four different domains doing, basically, the same thing. As far as I can see, however, this is all it is - history. Linux.org.il has developed a personality as catering mostly for Windows users who want to switch, but there is still no reason that I can see to keep both iglu and hamakor as separate domains, updated (or, as is more often the case, not updated) separately. So, instead of asking for iglu to come back up, I think it would be more constructive to say what it was in iglu.org.il you were looking for, thus focusing our effort into stuff people actually use! Thanks, Shachar p.s. Hint - it took a week and a half for anyone to notice the web site at iglu.org.il was down..... ================================================================= To unsubscribe, send mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the word "unsubscribe" in the message body, e.g., run the command echo unsubscribe | mail [EMAIL PROTECTED]
