You're lucky that you got so far. On my Mandriva Cooker system using wine-0.9.41-1mdv2008.0 , I cannot open a page using the location bar in IE6 (but I remember that I could in the past). It always displays "h" instead, and tries to load it. Then when I got to open http://www.google.com/ using File -> Open, MSIE just thinks for a bit and then crashes into wine. Perhaps I should report it, but where?
