Hi, Can anyone explain readproctitle (http://cr.yp.to/daemontools/readproctitle.html) to me in words of 3 sylables or less?
I'm admining a system which runs quite a few of these DJB programs (qmail, tinydns, daemontools, etc), and to say that I find them somewhat less than intuitive would be a gross under-statement. My boss, who is one of those for whom a little knowledge is dangerous, is having kittens over this line from `ps aux`: root 492 0.0 0.0 1236 204 ? S 2006 0:00 readproctitle service errors: ...: warning: unable to write to ./main/current, pausing: out of disk space?multilog: warning: unable to write to ./main/current, pausing: out of disk space?multilog: warning: unable to write to ./main/current, pausing: out of disk space?multilog: warning: unable to write to ./main/current, pausing: out of disk space?multilog: warning: unable to write to /main/current, pausing: out of disk space? I realise the "2006" probably means that these errors are ancient, but I'd like to be able to explain it to him in words of 1 sylable so I stop getting ongoing grief over this. Any light that anyone can shed on this would be of considerable help.
