This is a meta job offer, really. It is primarily meant for experienced (3 years minimum) Linux C/C++ developers, the
kind that knows the difference between gcc and awk and which end of the Unix pipe goes where. You know who you are, and
most probably, you already have a job. If that did not stop you from reading this far, please continue reading - I have
an unusual offer for you.
A couple of clients of mines are ready to make the departure from your previous employer a happy one, to the tune of 35k
+ benefits. Hell, if you insist, they'll probably throw in the refreshments for your old buddies at previous employer... :-)
The jobs are for for a couple of different companies, so the very best will get to pick and choose. All jobs are in
Herzelia Pituch or Kiryat Atidim. All jobs involve writing C/C++ closed source code in a Linux environment for a Linux
based commercial product. All positions are for the recuirment to the teams building the next generation of the flagship
products of the respective companies.
Note that there are actually around 10 positions, but only the top 3 code slingers get the terms I've mentioned above.
Others will get terms proportional to their market value, but the above serves to explain what are the top prices.
To qualify, you need to be:
- An excellent Linux C/C++ developer.
- Minimum 3 years experience developing C/C++ code on Linux enviornments.
- Heavy networking, embedded or kernel development experience.
- Participation of heavy duty Open Source projects (kernel, GCC etc.) is a huge
advantage.
The positions are also open for freelancers, provided they are willing to commit for a long time (1 year minimum) for at
least 80% of their time.
