Hi Guys

I've been having alot of issues with speeds lately, and I'm wondering
what most people have found to be the optimal settings in Linux for ADSL
with various ISPs in Israel. I recall in the old days tweaking things
like TCP window size, MTU, etc... Can anyone provide some settings which
they have found to be optimal here?

In another note, I've been having some major speed issues here
especially in the evenings. I have a 2.5mbps package, and used to get a
constant 254 K/sec with bezeqint. Lately I switched to netvision and my
speeds seems to constantly jump around from about 120 K/s to 320 K/s.
Is this something an ISP thing or something I can fix with settings on
my end? (I'm using an old Linux box as a router...)

Lastly, maybe it will help other people.. as mentioned I had major speed
problems especially in the evenings lately. I thought it was my ISP at
at varying times I get stuck from around 11-80 Kbps. Tonight I swapped
my B-Focus 270PR for my parents' Aztech DSL-600E, and it seemed to solve
the problem. Curious if anyone has any insight in this regard, even
though it's slightly off-topic.

Thanks

Gadi
