I'm CCing this to Linux-IL to get a broader audience. Well, today Telux is going to have the last presentation in the "Welcome to Linux" series. So now we need to start with the regular activities again. The problem is that no one commmitted to give any presentations. So here are some ideas on what we can do:
1. Re-runs. Can any of the previous presenters give a re-run of their previously given presentations? 2. Interactive hacking. Gabor gave a very nice Test::Live session for the Israeli Perl Mongers. We can do something similar: take a project, and add tests, fix bugs together etc. 3. Distribution Comparison Session - this idea came up on the Haifux mailing list once: http://www.mail-archive.com/lin-club%40stud.vipe.technion.ac.il/msg00272.html I liked it back then and I still do. Would anybody be interested in such a thing? 4. A Lightning Talks session. 5. New Presentations - yes I know it's an unorthodox idea, but maybe someone can prepare some in time.
