I'm having an interesting problem.
I'm running CentOS. My TZ is set to GST-3. If I enter clock, I get the answer: Thu 05 Oct 2006 02:11:25 PM GST -0.259119 seconds Which is the correct time, but if I use date: Thu Oct 5 15:11:41 GST 2006 It seems that GNOME clock is using the date entry and is an hour off, but the time the system shows me it's getting off NTP is the correct time. Any idea where the difference is here? I assume it has something to do with Daylight savings in the US, but I don't know where to change the setting that is causing this affect.
