[OT] digital crimes and investigation

Hello, The teenager son of a friend of mine is been plagued by a digital hassler for a couple of weeks now, including Instant Messaging, and recently several dozen phone calls (per hour !!!) placed through skypeout. I'd be happy to assist him track the bastard, but I think he needs an expert digital/internet forensic professional to assist him. He is willing to pay a fee. I think it would be actually fairly easy to get IP numbers for the IM data, and this could assist the police investigation which is pretty slow anyway...
