and that, my friend, is why I still cannot price a Linux server install
at a fixed price. there are always delightful surprises.

Since this one was entirely on the client's expense, I'm just very
annoyed, and only slightly ashamed, but will definitely charge for my
time. My client can argue with the Hardware supplier later (Internet
Zahav in this case).

Not before today, but considering this controller is on-board and IBM's
boards are large and complex, I'm happy it's screwed to a box which is
screwed to a rack which is screwed to the ground and seperated from me
by some thick glass in the control aquarium outside the Internet Zahav
hosting farm.
