Are you sure you are on the right list? That's just plain FUD. The GPL doesn't require you to post any code change, it does require you to do provide the source when you distribute the binaries to other peoples. Due to the nature of such work I'm sure that if Hetz provided you with the binary RPMs he generated and you asked for the source he wouldn't mind sending you them too.
