Current pthread/glibc library is > 2.3.3-97. I replied to Marcel on a different list. I checked, and pthread_atfork() works for me on several platforms (RHEL3 on i386 with 2.4 and 2.6 kernels (one of them a Xeon-based x345, another a Pentium IV), and Yellow Dog on PPC (G5) with a 2.6 kernel). Marcel should have received full details, and I'll spare the rest of you. -- Oleg Goldshmidt | [EMAIL PROTECTED] | http://www.goldshmidt.org ================================================================= To unsubscribe, send mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the word "unsubscribe" in the message body, e.g., run the command echo unsubscribe | mail [EMAIL PROTECTED]
