Is there a way to silence up bash when file or command completion is not deterministic? this one is really annoying.

A. info(1) bash and then search for 'bell-style'.
Did:
  set bell-style none

Still beeping. I googled and noticed other people complain about the thing. I wonder how zsh does it.

B. At the terminal emulator level -- e.g: look at
   the -vb option to xterm(1).
xterm does it great however I typically use konsole. Didn't find a similar option for that.
