                        LIRC -

                Linux Infrared Remote Control

  The lecture covers the configuration and use of Linux Infrared Remote
Control, or LIRC. The lecture will cover all aspects of the configuration
from building or obtaining the hardware, through configuring the LIRC bottom
half, up to the LIRC top half and use with applications such as XMMS,
mplayer, and xawtv.
