Hi, I had problems writing to my disk-on-key and since I found the solution, I hope this can be of use to anyone with a similar problem.
Although my disk-on-key was mounted properly and used to funtion correctly, I was getting I/O errors and according to dmesg: FAT: Filesystem panic (dev sdb1) fat_bmap_cluster: request beyond EOF (i_pos 8202) File system has been set read-only The solution was dosfsck -a /dev/sdb1. -- Shlomo Solomon http://the-solomons.net Sent by KMail 1.7.1 (KDE 3.2.3) on LINUX Mandrake 10.1 ================================================================= To unsubscribe, send mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the word "unsubscribe" in the message body, e.g., run the command echo unsubscribe | mail [EMAIL PROTECTED]
