Happy Pesach to all,
For our seder tonight (I'm in CA right now) we're each supposed to bring something remotely connected with Pesach. Can any of you think of a connection between Pesach and Linux ?
Perhaps I can write a parody of the exodus with Bill Gates as Pharoh and Linus (or Eric?) as Moses ...

I did the best to get the facts right, and do justice to the history. I'm not aware of any other one who documented the Israeli open-source history this way. Note that the page is world-editable so feel free to correct typos and stuff. I just ask that if you have more substantial modifications you'd like to incorporate there, that you'll raise them here before actually editing the page.
