Hi Amichai,

As long as the applications that you'll find are using either GTK-2.x
or QT (3.x and above), then you shouldn't have any problem typing and
reading in hebrew.

As for household managment - as long as you're not requiring advanced
features (conntectivity from the app to your bank, tax deduction
issues, etc), then there are few applications. Freshmeat.net is your
friend ;)
