Any documentation of the KDE config files?

If none exists, my strategy would be:

  cp -a /home/usera/.kde /home/usera/kdeback1
  # have usera configure the minimal required changes
  diff -ur /home/usera/.kde /home/usera/kdeback1

Try to see which files have changed. Edit the relevant files in
/etc/kde3 (if you have a decent distro , where configs are under /etc,
else, under /usr/share/config ).

Does this have any effect on existing users? I hope. On new users?
