I'm getting a second computer for the household. I figured that the best thing to do is to get a laptop - useful for taking with us on the road, or around the house.
Being the linux zealot that I am, it should support linux, with as many of its features enabled.
The required features being:
* ultra portable - weight of no more than 2Kg, screen size of 14" or less (12" or 13.3" are preferable)
* tv-out - so we can use it as our media computer (i.e. supported under X)
* wifi
* good screen
Optional features: * wide screen * suspend to ram * long battery life * bluetooth/IR * CDRW/combo/DVD
I'm not expecting that people on the list will do the research for me, just let me know if you know about models that fit these constraints.
So far, I've found one model that probably fits - the Fujitsu 6210. I'm looking for more options, though.
