What is the best way to publicize an email address in order to attract the maximum amount of spam?

Place it on a website, send a message from that address to Usenet, it will take a short while for it to be picked up but you are guaranteed full success and lots of spam.
It worked for me without even trying hard.
You may also want to search for "mail honeypot".
