In case you haven't heard, Yes and NDS will soon start selling a product
called "Yes MAX", which replaces the standard Yes decoder (memir) with a
full PVR product. Needless to say, NDS is likely to make millions from this
deal, so they will try very hard to make it impossible for anyone else to
produce a PVR that will work with Yes.

Why exactly Yes let NDS hold them in a stranglehold like this, I don't know.
