Due mostly to time constraints, the Go-Linux event that will take place next week (22/12 at the Hilton) will not follow last year's format. Instead of several tracks, some of the highly technical, this conference is aimed mostly at IT managers, and will accordingly be mostly high level reviews. As such, the excellent suggestions people posted to me (both on list and privately) are not appropriate for this conference.
Instead, somewhere on Feb 2005 People&Computers will hold another conference, which WILL follow the same format as last year's conference. The suggestions you sent will be used, where appropriate, in that conference.
P&C are looking to fill in a couple more lectures in Wednesday's conference, and asked for my help. If there is anyone on this list, company owners included, who has an interesting subject to talk about more suited for this type of conference, please contact me ASAP.

In addition to that, I'll probably give a lecture about Linux Migration. This should give you a fair idea what the conference will be like. Please contact me if you want to give a lecture in this field.
