Yes. Most of the programs you care about use Xft. With a standard
configuration , simply copy the fonts files to new subdirectory under
/usr/share/fonts , and then run (as root) fc-cache .

He has already bought a license to use those fonts with his system.

Those fonts happen to be almost freely *distributable*: as long as the
original format is maintained, they remain freely-distributable. But
we're talking about fonts from the eixsting system for personal suse
only.
