the actions mentioned below mean we have to make linux il's web site
pretend to endorse some service, and we then need to spam people?
can you describe what are the _mandatory_ actions from the list you
posted? according to their web site, these are all mandatory. lets see:

i'm not sure what these are - i'll imagine they are normal trademark law
things...

this means sending a _personal_ email to each group member, to their
private mail box? blah.... or to the entire list? sending more then one is
redundant and annoying..

this is a "semi-permanent link-exchange" scheme...

even worst - it must be on the home page, since we have an 'events' box on
the home page? and we have no 'partners' nor similar section.

we'll just claim this is not feasible, i presume.

that's a personal issue for the admin, no effect on linux-il.

here is another clause from their page:

You warrant to LinkedIn that You have the right to provide LinkedIn with a
list of the names of Your Group Members.

(the above appears at sectoin 1 of their agreement that you (who is you?
you personally? the entire group) must "i agree" to.

there's some mention about giving e-mail addresses of the members, but
this is written in a softened manner ("should you want to, you have the
right to give the addresses". thus, declare to never want to - and you
comply with their requirements).

i say - hmmmmm....
