hi,
just got back from miluim ...
thanks for all the replys i got ...
well, for the first 6 months, i got a good price for a fixed ip account.
after 6 months, if i will not get a good price, I'll have to go with th dyndns solution, which i do not really like and have a lot of cevates ( for instance, what if my link fall down and sombody with a an active port 25 get my ip before i get the link back and update thd dns of dyndns.org, in this case i can lose emails. also, i have to configure the remote firewall whenever i get a new ip, etc ...), but i'll use it if i have to.
thanks again, erez.
thanks erez.

Erez,
I also looked for static IP solution and then I realized that I do not need it. I'm using dyndns.org free dynamic dns service and all the world knows me by my DNS name and IP could change. I am able to serve via HTTP and run my own mail server without paying for static IP.
Just my 2 cents.

hi
i am looking to connect to the internet via ADSL i prefer constant IP
the best prices i got is barak : 35 NIS/month, dynamic IP, for 1 year actcom: 38 NIS/month, constant IP, 6 month
the problem is that after the duration (1 year for barak, 6 months for actcom) i have to re-negotiate the price. so i prefer the longer duration.
anybody knows of similiar/better deals ? or new good ISPs which are not common knolegde ?
cheers, erez.
