I think it was me (though IIRC I just accepted the already existing invitation). I must say that I still don't know the answer for the question; I think Oron is right, and there is no real benefit for this service, but on the other hand - all the fears are not real either. I received many invitations which I ignored, because this service looked childish/spammish for me, and with no real benefit. Then I joined the annual conference of ISOC, and heard (in the halls, between the lectures) all the majors of ISOC, the last people you would think about them as users of LinkedIn, talk about it with a lot of appreciation. I entered the lectures, and heard again the same things about Social Networks in general (from Sheizaf Refaeli, Yossi vardi, etc.). Then, 3 days later, I met again many of these people in a "camp" that I can't talk about too much (actually I *CAN* talk, but then I must kill you... ;-). Of course, I heard all of these things again. So I registered, and immediately after entering all my e-mails, zillion invitations waited for me, which I had only to accept them (this brough me almost to 60 directly connected friends). This is my story, and I still can't tell you what is good with it, but I don't see anything bad, either. In any case, Gabor has an amazing number of directly connected friends! -- Eli Marmor [EMAIL PROTECTED] CEO, Netmask (El-Mar) Internet Technologies Ltd. __________________________________________________________ Tel.: +972-9-766-1020 8 Yad-Harutzim St. Fax.: +972-9-766-1314 P.O.B. 7004 Mobile: +972-50-5237338 Kfar-Saba 44641, Israel ================================================================= To unsubscribe, send mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the word "unsubscribe" in the message body, e.g., run the command echo unsubscribe | mail [EMAIL PROTECTED]
