The only reason I've brought it up is that this is the SECOND time such a thing happens. The first time was a little more polite, but insisted that since it was a one time email, it was not spam.

I'm making this public so that people stop thinking they are ok just because they don't forge their "from" address, or don't use spam distribution software to send their spam. Spam is spam is spam. No amount of saying "no it isn't" will change that.

I am hoping that the next guy who wants to grab my email address from linux-il to send me a "newsletter", in the hope of getting business from me, understand that they risk losing not only my business, but other list reader's.
