I'd like to use this opportunity to express my feelings about that song. I felt it was ugly and entirely out of place in AP. The event represents the people that came to it. I came to an event about FOSS, proud to be part of this comunity - but when that song was played, I felt ashamed of my presence in the hall. I have strong views against porn; I'm not trying to force them upon others but the performance of that song sort-of forced others' views on me. It felt a bit like being forced to read spam.
I guess I'm over-reacting to something that was intended as a joke. I just wanted to say it was a bad joke.
In "Meet the Parents" (http://imdb.com/title/tt0212338/), Ben Stiller is trying to carry-on a bag that is obviously too big for taking into a plane. It has to do with a "weekend from hell" and the airline losing his checked in baggage on the other way.
When the steward suggests he check in his luggage, he explains that he won't, and says "It's not like it's a bomb". Later, when he is confronted by a security interrogator, he is confronted with the felony of saying "bomb" while on an airplane. I'll just add that this was published on 2000. After the 11th of September, 2001, that sentence, showing over-reaction by a security personnel, would probably no longer be considered funny.
I agree that the sound system playing that song was horrible, and I couldn't make out most of the words myself. I did get the feeling that there were two people in there, one for and one against porn. I have to say I did not understand enough of the words to actually be either amused or offended.
