Hi all,
The Israeli Perl Mongers are groups of Israeli Perl enthusiasts who meet regularly, once a month, to talk, mingle and listen to interesting Perl lectures from their peers.
While we do have lectures booked for the next couple of months, we are looking for more people to fill up open lecture spots in the coming months.
So, are you interested in presenting a talk on some Perl related subject to a group of Perl enthusiasts from all walks of life? It doesn't matter which platform or OS you work on. It also doesn't matter whether you're a programmer, sys-admin, web developer or just a casual Perl user. It doesn't even matter whether you're new to Perl or a veteran programmer. We're after interesting and unique applications of Perl, user stories, programmer Perl pet projects, in short anything related to Perl, at any level.

Talks can be of any length, between 5 minutes long (so called "lightning talks") to 120 minutes long (so called "really long talks" :-)).
There are two groups that meet regularly- one is Israel.pm which meets in Ramat-Gan, our home page is at http://www.perl.org.il , the list of upcoming (and previous) meeting dates is at http://www.perl.org.il/meeting.html and you can click on any of the meeting dates on that page for more details (exact location, etc.). The other group, Jerusalem.pm, meets in Jerusalem. Its home page is at http://jerusalem.perl.org.il/ and you can find additional meeting details there.

To submit a lecture please send your name, a topic, lecture length (time) and if possible a one-line description including any relevant links. For Israel.pm meetings, send the above to [EMAIL PROTECTED] . For Jerusalem.pm meetings, send the details to [EMAIL PROTECTED] .
