Actually, I've heard a wierder conspiracy theory. It says that installing MS-SQL on a computer will make Oracle work slower on that computer, even if the MS-SQL server is not activated.

This one I heard from a client that has a (windows) product that uses either. They need duel booting (windows-windows) machines to test both.
