What Dan did to create this RPM was to take TkOS's package, replace the
antiquated dictionaries by new ones, and repackage it as an RPM.

We welcome anyone who wants to do that for Debian, but neither Dan nor I
have the knowledge or the "itch" (we're both FC1 users at home) to do so.
If someone on the list wants to create such a deb, we would be happy - feel
free to contact us if you need any advice.

By the way, Dan's growing Hebrew-support RPM collection in

        http://ivrix.org.il/redhat/

(for Redhat 8, 9 and FC1) contains much more than just Hspell support for
OpenOffice. RedHat users in Israel will probably find that repository a
goldmine.
If anyone wants to help us compile such RPMs for more RPM-based systems
(RH 8, 9, FC 2 and Mandrake), we would appreciate the help.

Note that debs for most of these packages are already available (most of
them packaged by Baruch Even).
