You can add also "know the facts" of Hamakor, but still it will not help.
I try for over a year now to convinced computer stores, to sell computers with linux,
and i see alot of unhappy faces from the store owner.
Yearstoday a friend of mine heard the first time the word linux, and could not
understand how it is connected to ms-windows,
and what does it mean, that person is not a computer person, and all he needs is a way
to open web sites, chat with people, and write letters,
he could not car less what is the os, he does not understand what an os is really all
about, and he will never know, because it does not interset
him.

In order to make a move to linux from ms-windows we must make *ALL* the public that
does not know the diffrence between driver to regular
softweare, to know that linux is more secure, support hebrew, and does not hard to
work with, they need to know that while ms-windows you
can copy, but it's illigeal while linux is legeal to copy and speard...
they need to know that "word" is just a word proccessor and there are more similar
tools out there...
and people needs to know that standarts is not a one side thing, and not only one
company decides what is standart, but a whole community
does that.

but for doing that, we must first teach them a thing or two about computers, and not
to accept people that "goods in computer" if a kid have alot
of games in his/her computer.

so the best way to start support in linux is to kids in schools, and on any other
places that they use computers in public places. people needs to
start working with it, like it was everything else, and say "why does my windows
version can't do that, and find out that it's not windows, but LINUX"
and they could have it with a finger tips..

At least thats my idea :)

Ido
