Porting XFree86 drivers to an IA64 based ccNUMA beast A war story Abstract: During 2003 I was involved in the porting of an accelerated XFree86 driver to an 512 IA-64 CPUs ccNUMA beast called the SGI Altix. This lecture will share with the audiance some of the things I've learned about IA-64, DRI/DRM and AGP, writing device drivers for ccNUMA platforms and XFree86, in no particular order.
