Where did it fail, no connection, no sound?

It worked for me with gnomemeeting/ohphone to win2K. I checked it first
on my local network and not through a firewall, never tested the
firewall.

I know its not that hard, you need control over the firewall and to know
how to do it and that its possible (some simple home routers integrated
into adsl modems don't allow NAT). The other problem is that you need to
have an IP or internet address to connect to.
