Hi,
Since I connected my home computer to ADSL, I am experimenting with
various options of upgrading specific packages using apt-get and family.
One of the most useful features of the wajig program is whichpkg which is
supposed to provide one information about the name of the program that
contain a certain file.
Trouble is that its behaviour is pretty eratic: In the beginning it only
reported only packages which were installed. After an upgrade (of mozilla,
not of wajig itself) it suddenly started to look in the depositories
listed in my sources file as well. Now, after adding some new packages it
reverted to its initial bad habits. Following the advice of Graham
Williams, I tried to use the -t option to get some debugging information,
but it did not help.
Now, wajig is supposed to be only an envelope for other programs. Does
anyone know which other program has the whichpkgj option's functionality?
Thanks, Avraham
