I am trying to install Hebrew fonts for X. I downloaded hebxfonts-0.2 and ran make. The mkfontdir on /usr/lib/X11/fonts/misc reported that two fonts couldn't be processed because of duplicate names. I deleted those fonts from the directory and then the mkfontdir program finished correctly. I ran xset fp rehash and it didn't report any errors. If I look in the fonts.dir file I see the fonts listed there. However, when I run xlsfonts the fonts are not listed.
I am running RedHat 9. What do I have to do to have those fonts available?
