By the way, after purchasing a used Ultra 5 for $250, I looked for memory expansion (from the current 256MB to 512MB), and I am asked to pay MUCH higher prices (i.e. expansing 256MB to 512MB costs MUCH more than the original 256MB PLUS an entire workstation with its disk, CPU, etc.!); Needless to say that I'm not going to pay this money, for an old and slooow memory (about 1/10 of the current DDRs used for PCs), no matter what the price-lists say.
Does anybody know where I can find USED memories for Ultra 5/10? Or an old Ultra 5/10 that doesn't work anymore and can be "slaughter" for its RAM? The official name of the memory is "370-3798-01", it has 128MB of 50ns (ECC/EDO/3.3v) and it comes in pairs (i.e. 2 will allow me to have 384MB, and the maximum number of 4 will allow me to have 512MB).
