[EMAIL PROTECTED] In addition, I believe I saw somewhere that
kde 3.2 was uploaded to unstable (sid). Which might imply that it will
show up in testing soon. However I am not sure I understood correctly
what I skimmed.
KDE 3.2.1 is a long time in unstable and though I didn't see an official release of 3.2.2 it (3.2.2) was uploaded to unstable around last weekend. Here is the breakdown of the KDE version of packages I have on my system:
4 3.0.2-2 3 3.1.2 24 3.2.1-1 4 3.2.1-2 12 3.2.2-1
The "3.1.2" ones are old meta-packages which I suspect were abandoned. The "3.0.2" ones are Kdevelop3 (I suspect the debian packages just follow the KDevelop version numbers).
It usually takes 10 days of stabilization in unstable to move things to "testting" (could be a shorter period if the update is critical).
You can get a short explenation on how "testting" works in http://www.debian.org/devel/testing
Do report back if you'll have any more information.
Hope this explains some.
Cheers,
--Amos
