if i press it while it is running windows, it shuts down all apps, then turns of
if i press it while running linux, it will turn of immidiatly.
i want it to shut down as if i press 'ctrl-alt-del' in a VT (but i do not have a keyboard at all)
any idea ?
look into acpid -- http://acpid.sourceforge.net/ -- it's supposed to capture ACPI events (like "power button was pressed") and let you configure what happens for each event.
